The Ensuite Life
ensuite (än ˈswēt) - adjective & adverb
(of a bathroom) immediately adjoining a bedroom and forming part of the same set of rooms. Imagine the world is at your feet. You have the opportunity to work and travel around the world. It's exciting. A sense of freedom like you've never know. You'll be the envy of everyone you know. And a part of you just might be scared to death! Leaving our comfort zone is not always easy. There's the romantic vision of packing a bag, getting on a plane, and heading for parts unknown. Then there's the reality. You have to actually plan to do this. And if you are working a job at the time, there are logistics to work out before you go. I wrote this book, not only to tell the journey of my three-month trip around the world with humor and honesty, but also to provide important information for anyone who ventures the globe. While everyone can enjoy this book, I target those of us who are beyond our after-college gap year and before we're handed our gold watch for years of employment (do they actually do that anymore?). So take a little time and follow me on my journey. It may just inspire you to do the same. Check out an excerpt from the book. |

"The entertainment value, though, is priceless, as Mr. Barmish alternates very solid and practical advice with travel anecdotes worthy of Twain's "Innocents Abroad." Starting at the Cook Islands and ending in Spain via Asia, the Middle East and Mediterranean, you will definitely have made an armchair journey around the world, and learned things that cannot be learned without experience."
"I would recommend this book to anyone! Of course it's great if you love travel and great if you want to explore the globe (whether one place or many) on a non-college budget but also a non-Rockefeller budget, but it's also great because the author skillfully mixes informative travel tips with witty and often hilarious travel experiences..."
